Processing periods
Three-day payroll
- Approval day: Three business days before payday
- Approval time: 3pm ET
- Processing period type: Standard processing
- Example: If payday is on a Friday of a non-holiday week, the approval deadline will be on Tuesday at 3pm ET
Note: when using three_day with ACH funding, payrolls are subject to a $1M cash requirement limit. Single payrolls exceeding this amount must be funded by wire, or split into multiple payrolls with cash requirements <$1M.
Two-day payroll
- Approval day: Two business days before payday
- Approval time: 8pm ET
- Processing period type: Accelerated processing
- Example: If payday is on a Friday of a non-holiday week, the approval deadline will be on Wednesday at 8pm ET
Next-day payroll
- Approval day: One business day before payday
- Approval time: 8pm ET
- Processing period type: Accelerated processing
- Example: If payday is on a Friday of a non-holiday week, the approval deadline will be on Thursday at 8pm ET
