How to Request a Secondary Review in Console
Request a secondary review in Console for involuntary terminations related to suspected fraud.
Navigating a case of involuntary termination for suspected fraud can be challenging. To facilitate this process, we have introduced a new feature in Console that allows you to request a secondary review to appeal these cases. This feature is designed to provide an additional layer of scrutiny and ensure fair assessment.
Getting Started
Ensure you have admin access in Console. If not, you might need to coordinate with your administrator to complete these steps.
Initiating Secondary Review
- Go to the Company Details page for the company in question in Console.
- Locate the Company Termination Status tab.
- If the company has been terminated involuntarily on suspicion of fraud, you will see a Request Secondary ReviewΒ button. Click this button to start the review process.
Providing Context
Upon initiating the Secondary Review, you'll be presented with a series of guiding questions. These are designed to gather as much relevant information as possible to aid in the review. The questions include:
- Your Relationship with the Company:
- Have you been onsite with them?
- Describe the nature of your relationship (e.g., existing, personal).
- Business Operations:
- What services or products does the business offer?
- How and where do customers access these services?
- Company History and Plans:
- Is this a new business or are they planning to open soon?
- Are there plans for multiple locations?
- Ownership Details:
- Have there been any recent changes in ownership?
- What is the signer's relationship to the company?
- Can you provide amendments to the articles of incorporation?
- Affiliated Businesses:
- Does the signer or company have other locations or companies registered with us?
Uploading Supporting Documents
In addition to answering the needed questions, upload all of the following: a valid US ID, articles of incorporation, bank statement, and a 147C. If any of the previous documents were provided, they do not need to be uploaded again. This can be done in the Company Actions tab. This will strengthen your case and provide additional context for the review.
Submitting the Review Request
After answering the questions and uploading all documents, submit your request for the Secondary Review. Be thorough and provide as much detail as possible.
Awaiting the Decision
Once your request and documents are submitted, our team will conduct the review. The outcome will either be the reinstatement of the company or a finalization of the denial.
