Processing Time: Within 15 minutes, you will receive an email with your:

  • Withholding Tax Account Number
  • Deposit frequency

    • (Seven digits followed by two letters)

✅ Registration Steps

Option 1: Online (Recommended)

  1. Go to GDOL Employer Tax Registration
  1. Complete the registration application
  1. Once submitted, you’ll be issued your SUI Account Number

Option 2: Paper Application

  • Complete electronically and print
  • Submit by mail

Paper processing time: Up to 30 days

Account details are mailed to the business address on record

📄 Account Format

  • Format: ######-##
    • (Eight-digit number)


Final Step

Once both accounts are issued:

✅ Update your payroll account with:

  • Georgia Withholding Tax Account Number
  • Georgia SUI Account Number

These are required for accurate payroll tax filings in Georgia.
